Things to do in Wellington
Easy access from Crescent Point to Wellington city and tourist attractions such as Te Papa
, the National Museum or the redeveloped waterfront that is nearby.
Take a leisurely stroll through the Botanic Gardens in the city and then return by cable car for a great fun four minute ride.
Visit The Beehive
and Parliament Buildings, the headquarters of government in New Zealand. Completed in 1981, the Beehive got its name from its unusual architectural shape which looks like a beehive and stands more than 70 metres high. Parliamentary tours operate from 10 am to 4 pm on weekdays, from 10am to 3pm on Saturdays and from 12pm to 3pm on Sundays except for New Year's Day and January 2nd, Waitangi Day, Good Friday, Christmas Day and Boxing Day when they are closed.
Or just take a leisurely stroll around Oriental Parade and enjoy the Wellington waterfront and the harbour.
